What We Did in Class
* We began class by doing current events update.
* Then, we began lesson 24-3, "LBJ and the Great Society." * We filled in the notes as the teacher read and discussed the lesson. * After that, we watched another segment of Mississippi Burning. We filled in answers to the movie worksheet as the movie played. * We began class by doing a current events update.
* Then, we finished reading and discussing 24-2, "JFK and the Cold War." * Next, we corrected the 24-2 notes and the teacher took the grade. * After that, we completed the 24-2 quiz. * Finally, we ended the class by watching twenty minutes of Mississippi Burning. Students filled in some answers on their movie worksheet and we discussed what we had viewed. * We began class by doing a current events update.

We began reading and discussing lesson 24-1, "JFK & the New Frontier." * As we read and discussed the lesson, students filled in the 24-1 notes. * After that, the teacher introduced the next movie, Mississippi Burning. * The teacher handed out the movie worksheet and we watched about 30 minutes of the movie. * We began class by correcting the 22-4 lesson notes.
* Then, students completed the quiz over 22-4, while the teacher checked students' notes and recorded the grade. * After that, the teacher handed out lesson 24-1 and he introduced it. * We began filling in the notes for 24-1. * Finally, the teacher introduced us to the Abraham Zapruder film from November 22, 1963. * We began class by doing some current events update.

Students answered questions I had over the primary source. * After that, we continued our lesson over 21-1, "Wartime America." We talked about our industrial strength helped win the war. * Finally, we ended the class by watching another excerpt from the 2001 movie, Pearl Harbor, and students answered questions over it. * We began class by doing a current events update.
